Thanks for that. Yes I am very happy with Lisa lucy's breeder. She really knows her stuff and I'm happy to wait till Lisa is happy for Lucy to come home.
Lucy's not ready yet !!!
Just had the news today Lucy isn't ween yet and still taking a large meal by hand. So it could be another two weeks. No a problem, a little disappointed I was sort of hopping she would be home this weekend. Never mind a think another visit this week and more photos. She must be about 20 weeks now. I'm told she's still a big softy. That sound great to me. Hehe.
I'm glad you like the new plan. I was thinking the king travel cage. The large one, I have the small one for Rambo and i think they are fantastic. Judy have you seen the new pics on my other post.
Well people, Lucy is due home very soon. My original plan was for Lucy to live at work Monday to Friday then come home at the weekends. Rambo was to stay the same going back an fourth to work every other day. Well now I'm a bit bonded with Lucy I don't like the idea of her been left at work over night. So I'm thinking now both birds will work share. Both live at home all the time but will come to work with me every other day. So both birds will see me every morning and every night but will get my under divided attention at work every other day. At night if I'm out, both of them are save at home with each other for company.
What do you think ??
I'm also thinking I won't need two travel cages and I won't need two cages at work. The massive cage I bought for Lucy at work Rambo can go in on his day at work. It's so big Rambo will be in heaven. If i've not made myself clear the birds will never be in the same cage ever. Both have there own at home and never be at work together.
For anyone new to my latest post's I have a 6month old CAG called Rambo and a 18 week due home anytime Green Wing called Lucy.
Enjoying reading this Kev. Sound great. Shame I could not make the picture bigger to see her better. Please try again with more pics and keep us upto date with sunshines progress.
Well I've seen her again today and boy as she grown. I'll pop some more pics on tomorrow. Still no name. I did originally want a boy called Rocky. She was nearly named Rocky today. Rocky, don't have to be a boys name and she does rock with her bad foot. But in the end decided not. Lol
She is still very loverly and cuddly but there is a lot more bird. You forget how big these green wings are.

Some fantastic names coming through thank you keep them coming. Kev she's not due for a long long time. I'm hopefully going next Saturday so i will get more pics. I think she will be about 17 weeks then. I hope to name her then too.
At the min I'm working hard setting everything up. Got a bit of work to do so she will be happy and comfortable. Ive loads to buy too, not a cheap thing setting up for a new baby.
what can i say.......ive only met her once, she 15 weeks old and just loved to cuddle and snuggle with me. So quiet at the min. The one thing that does make her different, she as a dodge toe, meaning she as three front toes and only one back on her left foot. I'm not due for another visit until next Saturday.
Can anyone help me think of a name for my green wing macaw. Its a little girl, got plenty of boys names but no girls.
Only one i can think of is Lucy (dont know why lol)
Ok cheers. Could one of the moderators move this. Then new topics I'll post in other birds.
Kev make sure you move with me. Lol. I want to keep in touch.
