Is there anyother green wing owners on this forum. I'm struggling to find other people with knowledge of this bird.

At the moment will not tolerate anybody but me. She clings to me if anyone new comes in the house. She is a real baby, so looks at me to protector which is nice. We bonded on the first day home. We may have even bonded when we first met.

Merry Christmas everyone. It's my birds first. I think Lucy will be to young this year to know what's going on. I'm sure Rambo will be ripping into his present very soon. Lol.

Lucy is the most cuddle bird I've ever known. All she like to do is lay on my lap and go to sleep. Other green wing owners how long does this last ?? It's so nice I snooze off too. Well at least till Rambo bites my ear. Lol.

Judy. I don't ever take my eye off them. It's a bit worrying when they are both climbing on me. If Rambo was to upset Lucy I could get caught in the middle. But I can't have Rambo out on his own. When Lucy is in her cage I can't do anything with Rambo. He just keeps flying back to Lucy's cage. I've got them both away now but Rambos going mad to come out but not to be with me. I can't believe how quick Lucy as made friends with me. She knows my voice and goes mad for me to cuddle her. I can shout hello Lucy as come home and Lucy shouts back. She don't shout back if anyone else calls her. Magic. Love it. Hehe.

All is going well. Today was our best day as you can see from the picture. They are getting on well.

Well today was the day. I've now got a massive macaw living with me. I've only met her a few times over the last couple of weeks but all she wants to do is sit with me. On my shoulder cuddling. Well I know you will all jump on me BUT i've had both birds out together straight away. One on each shoulder lol. No problem. Lucy is so laid back and a baby she just sits there and Rambo just as a little nibble. Just checking Lucy out. It's like Rambo is saying what the bloody hell are you. Lol. I think this is going to be hard for a bit. Some adjustments to be made.

Help. Stress today she home. How bloody big is she. I'm scared she's going to pick me up and fly off. Lol. Thanks for the messages. I'll do so pics when we are a bit settled it's been mad today picking her home it's a long way away and there was snow. But she is home. All good so far. Just nee time to organise and get settled in the new routine.

I think I better take some pic of my own home before Lucy and Rambo destroy it. Lol

I dont have any pic's of her very large cage. But i can tell you its a Montana Denver corner cage and she also as a Montana sunlite parrot stand. All shiny new waiting for her.

Well that time as now arrived, Lucy is to come home on Sunday all been well. She will be 22 weeks approx. I am already and spent an absolute fortune for Lucy and Rambo to be really Happy and comfortable. What a loverly way to spend Xmas.

Hello pee's. I sor a cat on tv the other day and it was the oldest cat in the UK, 23 human years old. That got me thinking - who as the oldest grey and how long as it been with you ???

My loverly sweet bird as the devil in him today. He's been so naughty for no reason. He's bit me and drawn blood. He's never bit me before. He also very calmly walk up my friends arm and took a chunk out of her nose. On both accession we both where very calm so he didn't get a reaction. I've just let him out again because I've been out for a couple of hours and he's still very fiery. Not nasty but naughty and biting. He's having a off day or may be he's growing up and testing what he can get away with.
