My guy is boring compared to all of yours! He has been flighted for a few years now but he really only flys when he gets spooked.

I had to bribe Babalu with cheese at first. I started off using a plastic cat kennel that the top half came off. I took top off and put the cheese down inside then him. Pretty soon, I didn't have to bribe or take the top off! I mainly use the cat kennel to bring him out to the aviary, and he likes going outside.

I use water also. I spray it on the grates, then let it soak for a few minutes.

I use high potency course... Never thought about using fine, hmmm...

I don't think I'm going to cage it since the parents are still outside. I'm hoping soon it will begin to fly.

FYI, I have called and emailed wildlife and corvid breeders and have not gotten any replies

Long story short, I am now feeding a baby crow. It first showed up a few days ago, parents are still outside but haven't came down to feed it. Ok, maybe long story lol, I left it alone the first day because I googled and that's what it said to do. That night he was gone. Then two days later he was back, and I picked him up because he was in the street, well he was so boney so I fed it wet cat food and egg yolks. So now I guess I am committed to keeping it alive. The parents still get pissed when I feed it but they are not doing it! I put it in a pool because it got enough energy again and it's walking around. Any tips? I went to feed it tonight and it is passed out! The first pic is the newest sleeping pic, it uploaded first for some reason
