  1. WHEN I SAY I'M BROKE---I'M BROKE An out of work cowhand answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner. 'Good morning,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners..' 'Go away!' said the unemployed cowhand. 'I'm broke and haven't got any money!' and he proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. 'Don't be too hasty!' he said. 'Not until you have at least seen my demonstration.' And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto his hallway carpet.. 'If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Sir, I will personally eat the remainder.' The unemployed cowhand stepped back and said, 'Well let me get you a fork, 'cause they cut off my electricity yesterday.

You can never have too many sticky notes. LOL!!
  3. I'd love to share pics of him. Thanks for asking. Baby Sabooh Yearling 3 year old - check out that star! Finally growing up
  4. I'm tooting my own horn here. I've been breaking out my baby horse and so far so good. It wouldn't be a big deal except the last horse I helped break out bucked me sky high. So I'm patting myself on the back for my bravery.
  5. Come home Charlie! Sending prayers and best wishes for his safe return.
  6. OMG, I've got the hiccups! LOL LOL LOL!
  7. Godspeed Hans. What a sweet face he had.
  8. Wonderful wonderful news So glad to hear our Emma is back home with her Mommy.
  9. Oh no! I pray that Emma finds her way home a.s.a.p.!!
  10. Thanks for being so kind and welcoming. You brightened my day on several occasions.

  11. Thanks! Sometimes it's pretty cool what your brain thinks up while you aren't using it.
  12. Kito bit my son Neil a good one this morning. No blood but a dandy pinch. The little stinker lured him in. I've told him several times never to try to handle her unless he has a treat. I am proud of him for doing a great job of ignoring it. I didn't even know she bit him until after he brought her into the kitchen and calmly put her down on her t-stand. The poor kid, he really likes her but she is so mean to him!
  13. Kito and Charlie the parakeet seem to like eachother. Kito climbs around on Charlie's cage and sticks her tongue throught the bars. Charlie tries to seduce her. Even so, I am only going to let Charlie out of his cage (once I get him hand tame) in the bird room when Kito is in her livingroom cage. I love that little guy and don't want to risk it.
  14. I think when the dream began it was Kito. She started laying little eggs, and then she would get bigger. The next egg would be a little bigger and then she would grow again. The eggs were a dusty dark green with tiny white flecks. Eventually she layed an ostrich size egg and then she was an ostrich! Everyone was jealous of my cuddly talking ostrich. She gave the best hugs - wrapping that long neck around me. I miss her.
  15. Jill you are sweet, funny, and brave! Thanks for sharing.
  16. I have a Kito, and Zuri was second on my list of girl names. Kyan means little king and Raimi means compassionate (those were my 2 favorite boy names). Funny, my very first pet bird was an english budgie I named Blueberry. I still miss him!
  17. Do they have to put the bird under anesthesia to implant it? I wonder if a pet shop would allow that.
  18. Aww little cuties. I watched a couple of the other vids too. Who is the chirpy bird (parakeet? conure?) that thinks they belong to her? I wouldn't do nail polish (which is the first thing that popped in my head too), he could chew it off and it might be toxic. Naughty Noogie! ::::trying not to laugh:::: BWAH HAHA HA HA HA!
  19. It's amazing how fast baby birds grow. Good job Tanya, they look great! Are they starting to enjoy bath time at all yet?
  20. Shortly after I inherited Charlie the budgie I noticed he barked like my granny's dog. I didn't know Kito learned to bark until one groggy morning I thought someone had forgotten my little Sophie dog outside. As I sat up in bed I realized she was sleeping by my feet!
  21. Lots of fun videos and stories today. Thanks for sharing!
  22. Hola Chickita, Emma you are such a sweetheart
  23. Ok, here's a silly idea that went through my head and is obviously now coming out my fingertips . . . dab some blueberry juice on the back of his head. LOL!!
  24. Awww. The Baltimore Oriels came back a couple of weeks ago and Kito picked up their song right away. Loud, but pretty. I'm so glad turkey hunting season is over because I came home one day to hear my husband practicing that terrible squawk call in the house. Thankfully Kito decided not to copy that noise. See, there is something way worse than crows Xtreme575!
