  1. I saw his website. Its alot of waffle and claims that his trianing will change your bird instantly! Im a novice but ive read enough to know thats not true. If you ever see a site with loads of waffling like his its usually a scam.
  2. Oh im sure she will!!Nah it wont bother me! Ill still lover her
  3. Thanks that put my mind at rest. The feather didnt look chewed but i though it might be abit soon for her to be loosing wing feathers as she is only 5 weeks into her molt
  4. aww the poor bird! you were great to take him! Im sorry i can give you any advice as im a new owner too! I wish you the best of look and let us know how you get on!!
  5. I have a theory. Maybe its stupid but ill share it anyway. From what ive read about greys alot of then tend to resent the person that looks after them, feeds them, cleans there cage ect. My grey isnt a one person bird but is definatly nippier with me and im the one who does everything for her! I think its like the opposite of dogs. A dog will love the person who feeds and takes care of it where as a parrot will see the person who feeds it as someone who just invades there territory every morning and evening lol!!???
  6. I copied and pasted the question i put in the grey section. Also can someone tell me how you recognise the difference between a feather that is plucked , molted or broken? She was on her playstand last night and i wasnt watching her. I found a wing feather on the floor. I dont know whether she plucked it or whether it was broken or molted. It had some white fluff near the quill end and when i squeezed the end a little blood came out Thanks too anyone who can help me

  8. Hi! Her name is lilo and shes 14 months old. I adpoted her from a man who could no longer take care of her. Ive had her for about 3 weeks now. she was an angel up to about a week ago and then she started to bite me hard!! shes going through a molt so maybe thats why ? I had a few questions that I posted in another part of the forum maybe someone could answer them ??
  9. wow this is great! Ive just read through the first one and its so good!
  10. No mine isnt a one person bird yet anyway but her preference does change. This morning she wanted my moms attention in the afternoon it was me and then my dad lol!
  11. Hi everyone. I have a new timneh african grey. I adopted her about 3 weeks ago from an owner who could no longer care for her. She is 14 months old. for the first 2 weeks she was an angel! Anyone could hold her and pet her. But in the last week her behaviour has changed. shes biting me really hard and shy's away when i try to take her out of her cage. She is going through her first molt so would this be why she is so cranky?? Also can someone tell me how you recognise the difference between a feather that is plucked , molted or broken? She was on her playstand last night and i wasnt watching her. I found a wing feather on the floor. I dont know whether she plucked it or whether it was broken or molted. It had some white fluff near the quill end and when i squeezed the end a little blood came out Thanks too anyone who can help me
