What a cool playgym Adaya has! I like that name Adaya, does it mean anything?

I am still trying to name my baby! I kinda want an African name that means something but it is so hard to choose! And i still don't know the sex yet so I guess I gotta pick a boy name and a girl name that I like. lol

Hahahah how funny is that!! Why does Misty like the ipod so much? Is it because your playing music and he doesn't know what the noise is? LOL try to catch this on video!

So I am anxiously waiting for my baby CAG to arrive and I thought I would keep myself busy and start making toys. The first toy I made was pretty simple. Its just wire and beads and some rope. This is what it looks like: I made one for these birds that I am babysitting for a family member and boy was it a hit for them!! About a minute after I put the toy in their cage they were checking it out and started playing with it. The female was loving it soo much, I swear she was playing with it for hours. I snapped a couple pictures of them playing with it and having soo much fun! And then I made another one for my mothers grey to see if he would like it. He is usually scared of new toys so I didn't think he would like it at first. But I was wrong! As soon as I put it in his cage he was curious and started playing with! As I type this he is still playing with it! lol I am pretty happy with the results of this simple toy that hardly cost a thing. Yes!! It moves veryyy slowly! And everytime I come on here I get more and more excited about getting my grey!

I live in Palm Beach County, about 2 hours north of Miami and the weather here is gorgeous. I definately recommend you go to South Beach, it is beautiful! The weather there is most likely going to be nice and sunny for the beach. Its about 75-80 degrees here and Miami is more south so its going to be hotter there. I hope you have a great trip here in Florida, I'm not from Miami so I don't know of any other place but the beach to go to. Once you get here all your going to want to do is go to the beach! lol

Beware! lol your grey is going to pick up many noises especially mimicking other birds! My grey has all of my birds whistles down, he will chirp like my cockatiels, screetch like my senegal and scream bloody murder like my indian ringneck! lol So it is quite impossible to not copy other birds. lol Good luck with your new baby! I am getting a new baby as well and I am soo excited I can hardly wait! Only 3 more weeks left!!

You are so lucky to have him trust you like that! My mom has had her grey since he was a baby for 2 years now and I lived with them most of those 2 years and I still can't my moms grey to trust me and step up to me like that. The only progress I get with him is a head scratch and thats it. Those are great signs, I'm happy for you! Hopefully Joey gets more comfortable and stops plucking. He is still a very pretty bird tho!

I saw Rappa in the photo album, they are very nice and Rappa looks beautiful! I really like that swing he is on in the first pic.

I buy the large toys for my grey because he likes to chew them up and it takes him longer for the larger ones lol. He especially likes the toys with leather on them and these wood blocks!
