Those are great pictures of Sachi and Emma, the pictures are so clear and show their colors so good. Ecko loves being out in the sun too, he gets really excited.

I was on facebook the other day and I saw a status that one of my friends posted, or I should say one of my "acquaintances" because I could never call someone a friend that would do that to a poor innocent bird. It said "setting my Quaker parrot free unless someone wants him. Cage is already outside. we need to get rid of him because of my moms home business. come pick him up today for FREE or find him flying around the estates." It really made me mad. I commented on it immediately and told her DO NOT let that bird go I will come get it right now. I had my mom go because I was at work. She said he had a filthy cage with no toys in it and they only fed him seeds, no fresh fruits or veggies. He also plucks his wing. She said she couldn't stand his screaming anymore thats why she wanted to let him go, so she probably yelled at him all the time. He is a very mean bird too, he lunges at you when you open the door, probably because he didn't get any love. Hopefully we can help this bird. Here are some pictures that I took outside when we were cleaning the cage.

Thanks you guys, I feel a little bit better now. I am going on a tour to UF on May 22nd to make my decision, I will let you all know what I decide. I've been busy at work today so I don't have much time right now but I will be back either tonight or tomorrow to introduce Sport, a quaker that I rescued the other day.

Oh I'm sorry Jill lol, FAU means Florida Atlantic University and UF means University of Florida.

Thanks Jill, your post made me smile, I appreciate it. I forgot to mention that I got into both FAU and UF. FAU is 45 minutes away and UF is 4 hours away. UF is a wayyy better school for me but FAU would mean I don't have to leave them so thats what I mean by I have a tough decision to make, I never once thought about not finishing school, my education is very important to me.

Hi Spock, I've missed you too! Yes he is going to be staying in the same house with his daddy, its just me thats leaving. I can't take him away from his daddy so he has to stay. Ecko is in his forever home, I would NEVER give up on him but I know I have to go away for a short time to do whats best for me so I can achieve my dream on becoming a vet. I just hope he doesn't forget about me.

Hi guys, its been a while since I've been on here. Wow did this site change or what? I need to get use to it again lol. Well I'm kinda going through a hard time right now because I have a very tough decision to make. I got accepted into UF which is very exciting but sooo hard for me. I live 4 hours away from UF and I wouldn't be able to take my precious babies with me. I just don't want to leave them. I love my animals so much and I feel like I am going to be soo lonely without them. Do you think if I leave Ecko is going to forget about me?? Our relationship isn't that good to begin with, he is a total daddys boy so I feel like he is going to hate me even more. I just don't know what to doooo.. any words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Caitlin

Hi all! How is everyone doing? I've been trying to come on here for a while now but I guess the site has been down. Hope everyone and their fids are doing good! I thought I'd share an update on Ecko with you all. I recorded Ecko talking the other day so here is a new video of his new sounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNDy6-n5LJw I love going to bird fairs and everytime there is one in town I make sure I go and get lots of new toys for Ecko bird. I've been to 2 bird fairs since I last posted on here so here are some pics of all the cool toys I got for Ecko. These toys were from the first bird fair I went to. I laid them out on his cage and he went right to them. He used to be so scared of new things but now he is a big brave boy. And these are from the second bird fair. I got mostly shreddable toys this time because I noticed those are his favorite kind.

Aww what a cute baby, thats a great picture! It sounds like little Issac is growing up and starting to refuse his formula, thats a start to weaning. Is he eating any solid foods?
