  1. Cocoa has always been thinking of getting a job. She doesn't want to be a burden to us financially. She wants to be an independent birdie. Here she is. Her new job as a driver of steamroller.
  2. I have been grey sitting for a friend for 6 days. Echo is her name. She is 3 months old. She left for home this afternoon and here are some of her pics.
  3. That bird is definitely not Cocoa. Cocoa would take flight the moment she touches the water. I wish Cocoa could do back stroke to better that Grey. lol
  4. This is my friend's grey doing breast stroke.
  5. I keep the canes in the fridge in plastic bag. They can be good for a couple of weeks.
  6. Some vids taken with my new camera. Slow motion flight. In HD video
  7. I thought it would be interesting to have the cat in the background. I am not sure if the cat was curious about Cocoa or just wanted to have a free meal. Not to worry. Cocoa was smarter. She flew to my shoulder when the stray cat got closer. Some earlier pics.
  8. Cocoa having fun with peanuts while we were snacking. Hiking. After hiking. Cocoa managed to get out of the house again while I was loading some stuffs into the car. Luckily I had a camera with me. I quickly snapped a few pics then asked her to stepped up and brought her back into the house. I took Cocoa along to work. We stopped by here to do some shootings on the way home.
  9. Cocoa likes to stand on the door whenever she is upstairs with mommy. And she would step down on mommy's fingers when she got down. A couple of weeks ago, when mommy had finished her chores, she asked Cocoa to step down as she was going downstairs. Being under tall (my wife), Cocoa struggled to reach mommy most of the time. On that day, Cocoa misjudged her step and she nearly fell. From that day onwards, Cocoa hesitated to step down when mommy asked to. Cocoa would walk to mommy, think twice then walked away. This went on for more than a week. One day she decided to try it out. Gripping the top of the door with her 2 feet, she used her beak to touch/ reach mommy's finger. The moment she touched mommy's finger, she quickly changed her position, held the top of the door by her beak with both feet down, and stepped down successfully. Finally, she has regained her confidence in mommy.
  10. As my wife was coming down from upstairs, both the birdies flew down at the same time. Mocha was following from behind. Cocoa thought Mocha was chasing after her. She got panicked (as Cocoa is afraid of Mocha) and crashed on the stairs and rolled down a few steps like Tom and Jerry show. She hit the stairs quite hard. I was in the kitchen and I heard loud thud noises. I quickly came out to take a look and I saw Cocoa was like in daze from the crash. My wife witnessed the incidence but could not do any thing to prevent it. Luckily, our hardy Cocoa is alrite. PS. Cocoa can take on a man but not Mocha, a bird smaller than her.
  11. Thanks. I have been shooting a lot lately. Missed out a couple of pics.
  12. We met 2 foreigners this morning. The guy in black is from Tajikistan and the owner of the hand (in the pic) is an Iranian. The Iranian was very persistent in touching Cocoa in spite of being bitten. Cocoa was so mad, she flew up and attacked him. The Iranian's thumb was badly bitten. I have never seen Cocoa attacking a human before!!!
