Thanks for your feedback. I have no idea how clicker training works. What I am doing now is I'll give him head rubs a few times a day. That's all he allows me to do. When I try to pet his back, he will run away.

My 1st parrot in recent years was a Blue Rumped Parrot. It was wild caught and not tame. The previous owner had it clipped. It took me 1 year to tame the bird. I would like to let my Sennie out. But the problem is I got to do some chasing to catch him back into the cage which will stress the bird. Would clipping make it faster to tame a wild bird? I read from experts that wing clipping is recommended to tame a wild bird. As you can see that all my present birds were raised from young. Hence they are tame and enjoying lots of freedom. I am not good with wild birds. Any suggestions?

Kilaya is not a tame bird ... yet. S/he allows me to scratch his/ her head but not step up on my finger. S/he came out of the cage yesterday. I had to catch him/her. S/he bit me but not as hard as Cocoa's bites. Kilaya is much gentle than Cocoa considering s/he is not a tame bird.

My Grey has been using that perch for almost 2 years. I am not sure if they are bad but so far Cocoa didn't complain. lol

Probably Tiel's?

My friends told me that they are not recommended to keep together if I want to breed them. Budgies are notorious. They like to kill other babies even their own kind. There are 2 eggs now in the nestbox.

Female tiels are very hard to find here. I am looking for a female companion for my new tiel, Opel. I want to keep them in an aviary. I called up a few breeders, all they have are males. I have a breeding pair in the aviary. The hen laid 3 eggs last months. I kept them together with budgies and a male budgie went in the nestbox killing 2 newly hatched babies and destroying the other egg which had a chick in it. I separated the tiels by keeping them in a cage while waiting for a big cage (6'L x 3'W x 6'H) to arrive. A friend is giving me this giant cage. Yesterday the hen laid an egg.

Both my tiels are less than 3 months. This is my new addition, a 7/8 months old. He maybe a male because he whistles a lot.

Update: Peugeot could be a male because he whistles quite often. I think Audi is a female because I have yet to hear her whistle.

Remember Cocoa sold 2 harnesses to 2 greys recently. Their dad told me today 1 flew away and could not be found. Both greys were wing clipped. The other refused to eat and died. So sad to hear that.

Peugeot's best recall flight. P did it again for me to shoot in slow motion. I was too slow in capturing the take off.

Cocoa received a message from a FB friend who was interested to purchase 2 harnesses. Both the customers were 3 months old CAGs. Here they are in my office this afternoon. Male customer with Cocoa. Female customer. Male customer. Customers' dad trying out the harness on the female. Cocoa and her customers. Cocoa did a good job. She sold 2 harnesses to 2 greys.

After watching a couple of my videos, the breeder said Audi is very likely a male judging from the shape of his wings viewed from the back.

2 nights ago, while I was scratching Cocoa's head (Cocoa was standing on my knee) Audi flew to my shoulder from the playgym. He jumped on Cocoa's back to chased her away. Cocoa came back to me in a short while and Audi attacked her again. Cocoa fled in panic. lol!

We are right hand drivers, British way. Cockatiels are easier to recall than Grey. I love doing recalls with them more than with my Grey. More recalls at longer distance. A woman who was watching us got herself tangled up when Peugeot flew around her.
