Natasha, if you have done everything you can to find this sweet grey's owner and all has failed. Then who better than you to become his forever caretaker. Enjoy this precious grey until fate turns the page. You are a good parront!

Hi birdlover, I'm so sorry you and your grey are not getting along. I have a rescued Eclectus who is a screamer. I started to sing to him, just a silly song, "Good Morning to You" or "You are my Sunshine". When he hears my singing he stops screaming. I believe he just wants to know where I am. My baby grey use to anxiously call after me, when I left the room. I now tell both my birds "I'll be back" and they now wait quietly for my return. If I take too long, they call again and I tell them I'll be right there and they seem content. They just need to know where their flock is I believe. Greys are sensitive birds so if you are anxious your grey will pick up on it. Perhaps if you are disenchanted by what you expected from your grey you should re-home him. If you can though, please give him a chance they are wonderful friends. Good luck birdlover!

I got Ana Grey's Aviator Harness from The Parrot University and it came quickly without a problem. This was a couple of months ago.

Thanks everyone for your nice words and good wishes for my Big Boy Sully. He doesn't shriek any more, well just a little, but as a call to me, and when I answer he quiets down. Carol, I got the cage at Pet Solutions.com, I brought Ana Grey's for $349 and Sully's which is the same for $299, great discount. It is an EZ Care Playtop Cage. I love this style of cage because the whole front opens so I can get all the way into the cage for cleaning. It also has a small door front opening. The play top is great and has a metal ladder and 6 toy holders. Ana Grey loves to sit on the very top of the toy holders and flap her wings to dry after a spray shower.
