Hi Regina, I'm not familiar with Termidor. Maybe other members will know more about Termidor. I would to be on the safe side remove my fids from the area. However with the flock you have I can see where you are reluctant to do so. What I would do is call the pest control company and find out the ingredients in Termidor and then call the local poison control authority and ask them how harmful these poisons and their fumes are and then also call my avian vet and ask him if your birds are safe. With that information you can best decide whether to move your flock or if they are definitely safe. It would be a tragedy if they were all lost. Please introduce yourself in the Welcome/Introduction Room and tell us more about your large flock and so we can give you a proper hello.

You are amazing Pat how you can manage all your sweet flock. My two are a handful for me and I admire your capacity to be so loving and generous to five! Ana Grey sneaks up on Sully and tries to beak his feathers and Sully always lets out a shriek and rears up. I have to rush to save them from each other. I so fear Sully actually nailing Ana Grey with his monster beak. I am the referee at least once a day if I am not vigilant. How do you do it???

Here is my emergency plan. My Lily, pug, is a great burglar alarm in her own right and I also have a security system so I feel pretty secure. Of course it doesn't hurt that the police station is 2 blocks from my house. I also believe in owning firearms as long you are familiar with them. I also have a travel emergency kit full of birdie needs like extra pellets, nutriberries, birdie first aid things, etc. I have an emergency kit full of dog needs also. I have two travel cages in easy reach in case of fire. In case I am not home when there is a fire or other emergency I have a trusted neighbor who has a key to my home and will evacuate my birds and dog. My pets are very familiar with this neighbor and her family.
