How exciting that Smokie is now learning new words. Sounds like Smokie has become a very large part of a very loving forever home. Karma to you for the great update!
Hi Mike congratulations on becoming a grey parront. Daisy sounds like a lovely TAG. I have a TAG also, Ana Grey, and she is now a year old. She is fearless. I too was lucky enough to find a breeder who totally socialized her babies and for that I am eternally grateful. I would love to see some pictures of your new baby. Welcome to the grey family.
Dayo certainly is a calm and patient grey. He is so cool I love to watch him. Every time your dobies barked, my pug, Lily, also started barking!!!! I wonder what was going on????
Oh no Bernie, say it isn't true!!!!! :pinch: My heart breaks for you. There is nothing worse than a guy with a broken toy!!!! How devastating!!!!
This is a very sad and frightening story, Jen. I'm glad you shared it with us though it is one I don't even want to think about because it is so devastating.
I looked at getting a cockatoo and believe me they are very needy birds. If you want a bird that needs to be with you constantly then a cockatoo is for you. They are a huge commitment that take a very special kind of person who can give them an abundance of one-on-one time. It is not a commitment that I could make. Please do a lot of research before deciding to purchase one.
