My TAG and Ekkie both have EZ Top cages and I love them because they are so easy to clean. The total front opens and they're great. Ana Grey spends a lot of time on the playstop. PetSolutions.com has them on sale most of the time.

If I had an outdoor aviary for my fids, I would be delighted to clean it for them!

Oh Pat I'm glad Darius finally enjoyed his ride home. To think that his nervousness was due to thinking that you were re-homing is so very sad. He must have been so afraid. I hope now he understands that you would never do that to him and he is home forever. I so much enjoy reading your posts about your flock. It is so very clear that they are each and everyone so very loved. If we had a parront of the year award you certainly have my vote!

I don't allow my young grandkids to pet my fids. So, of course, I wouldn't allow neighbor kids to do so either. There are a couple of neighbor teenagers, 14 and 17, who I allow to pet and feed my fids. They are very comfortable around my pets and are available in case of emergencies.

Ahhh the Kakapo, the only flightless and nocturnal parrot, the heaviest in the world, weighing up to 8 lbs. Native to New Zealand. Very cute.
