I got my full spectrum lighting set up at True Value last year. Works great for my fids.

Cleaning cages for the little ole fids so they can have a sweet and pleasant nite, nite! Have a great evening everyone!

Oh Robin I was so hoping that the removal of the bad feathers would help Beau. I have an Eclectus who hated being in a pet store, the noise drove him crazy. He plucked himself all the time. He is doing so much better now. I spray him with Aloe Vera juice daily and as our Dave007 said it would, Sully is doing so much better. It certainly must be the soothing properties in the Aloe Vera that cools the urge to pull the feathers. Have you tried the Aloe Vera?

Jill, you and Harvey have just reinforced to all of us how important it is to our greys that they have a harness on when outside. Thank you for this important reminder. Just the slightest wind and a bird is up, up and away. You're a great parront and I'm hoping once the initial scare is over you will be letting Harvey enjoy his harness outside once again.
