Is there a special call that Sindbad uses? When I leave the room my grey will call out "What you doing" I answer back, "Watching you" Then she knows were I am and she starts wolf whistling and I whistle back. This is more or less a contact call. Do you and Sindbad have such a routine. If you do, that is what I would use when looking for him. Praying that you find Sindbad. Hi Kevin, I can feel your pain as I recently re-homed an eclectus with whom I am trying to break the plucking habit. When I spray him with Aloe Vera juice he seems to do a lot better with not plucking. We are working to correct his plucking. Welcome to the grey family!

I use a pet nail clipper. I hold my fids and my daughter clips away. All you want to do is clip the tips so my fids don't seem to mind.

I can only thank this great forum for my fearless and happy Ana Grey. I hung around here for a few months before I brought Ana Grey home and drove everyone crazy!!!

So true Judy. When I move Ana Grey's cage she is usually in it. I have laminated floors so I just remove the skirt and roller the cages from corner to corner, room to room. As for toys, I just change them when Ana Grey or Sully are watching. The same with household furniture, the fids are usually sitting on a boing or hanging perch watching me work away. We are going to have to have a family meeting about that, they should be putting the shoulder to the couch as well!!! :lol:

I truly enjoyed your rendition on Spock and the flock's Christmas Eve. All in all it must have been joyful chaos with oodles of love and down right fun. Thanks for sharing with us Jay and Maggie. Have a wonderful holiday!!!!
