I think most have heard this story but here's proof. When I decided to get my CAG I wanted a female and wanted to name her Priscilla (prissy for short)since I already had a male tiel named Elvis. When Hershey came home I got a note from the breeder that said they called her Hershey because she loves to give kisses. I know a lot of birds do but it seems to be an obsession with her so I decided to keep the name :silly: So here she is doing what she loves to do best.

Hey Amber my grey was doing that. Like you I did not want the cage to be a punishment so what I started doing was putting her on her perch outside the cage, told her not to bite then turned my back on her for a few minutes. She hates that and has learned fairly quickly not to bite. There has been no biting for about a week now.

That was a great race!! After the medal ceremony the anchor finally went up and said something to the US Team. I dont think I could have handled it as gracefully as the team did. I wanted to rub it in for them, but then I guess thats probably why i'm not allowed in public for the most part:cheer:

I have 2 birds a Tiel and my CAG. They are in the same room but across from each other. I have not had my CAG long enough to put them any closer. Since Elvis (tiel) has been anti-social with Hershey so far he has not been very good company!

I agree, just call ahead so you know what to expect. Secondary screenings are no big deal, they do them all day long. Does your bird use a harness?

Hershey does the same thing as Noah. She always sleeps on her bowl. I'm gonna try that twisty perch and see if she likes it.

I think the saddest part is that if it is NOT a scam somebody will pay that kind of money which will encourage them to do it again. :ohmy:
