I'm still deciding on a name. Current front runner is Willow. What do you think? I was going to name her Persephone but somebody told me she'd have a hard time learning it. Also, maybe Aliss. Charlie does indeed have a huge crush on her. He regurgitates for her and guards her from us evil humans. They're so funny together. She eventually will get irritated with his attention and knock him off the perch. Just like real life boys and girls! He tries so hard to impress her and she knocks him down. :lol:

New photos of my baby! She's the one on the left. These were taken at my job at a pet store... the other bird is her "boyfriend" Charlie. It was love at first sight.

That is one of her clutch mates. That picture was taken at the breeders. I need to get some pictures posted of her at my house. She's so cool so far and I am definitely enjoying the baby stage! Her little noises are so cute !

No, I can't resist those dark baby eyes either which is why she's so spoiled already! She's really sweet so far!

Thanks guys! Yay! It's so exciting! And I'm sure that Judy remembers how we feel having a new baby in the house! We should definitely keep each other updated and share the progresses of our greys cflanny!

I posted some of these in the other forum but I figured I'd start a thread to post pics periodically. Here are a few to start with. She's doing great so far! A bit shy and hates to go in her cage but very sweet. I'm so excited to have her! And she's gorgeous of course. She was sitting in the sun today and I noticed that her chest feathers are tinted with a lovely lavender color!

Hooray!!! He's so beautiful! Our babies are awesome aren't they? I'm so happy for you!

Yay! Congratulations! We both have our babies now! We'll have to keep each other updated on behaviors etc.

Okay, what does everybody think of the name Persephone? I think I might like it more than Isabeau. Hmmmm... I also like Elanor, Belakane (african queen), Echo and Haven. Any favorites? Isabeau is from the film Ladyhawke. Persephone (per seff on ee) is Greek myth and also a planet in the show Firefly. Elanor is a Lord of the Rings reference. It's a flower and the name of Sams daughter. Also there is Eleanor Rigby that I could sing to her. Thanks for the reply. I thought at first that I should let him out so he wouldn't feel like new bird equals being stuck in his cage. But I guess my instinct was wrong. I hope they can be friends!

She's home! She's home! She is nervous and timid but very sweet and will step right up for me! She's napping now. Poor thing is all tuckered out. I'm still debating on the name but it will probably end up being Isabeau. So, I need some advice. My Senegal doesn't like her which I expected, but he wants to fly at her and attack her. Any advice on how I should handle this? Pictures later... my daughter took off with the camera today of all days!

And Congratulations to BaconsMom! I'm excited for all of us and our new babies! Bacon is so cute. Why did you name her that?

I just got the email from the breeder saying I can pick her up tomorrow!!! I'm so excited! But I'm sad for you Cflanny! I know how disappointed you must have been when you heard another week. I'll be thinking of you. Can't wait to see pics of your baby too! I'm glad everybody likes Isabeau as a name. I've been trying to decide for sure but am leaning heavily towards Isabeau though I also considered Aquila, Esme, Willow and Quinn. Any thoughts?

LOL! You know how I'm feeling! It's been such a long wait, but somehow, the last week seems the longest! Is yours coming from a breeder? Have you got to meet the bird yet? Congo or Timneh?

Woohoo! My little Timneh is a girl and she gets to come home either this weekend or next!!! Yay! I'm so excited! What does everybody think of the name Isabeau? Anybody have any good little girl names?
