Took Dusty for his health check tonight. Dusty is A ok. I'm happy now and after talking to the vet about Nutrition. He told me to try Dusty on Palm Nuts they eat these in the wild. So i guess we will try and see if he likes them. Anyway i'm pleased that Dusty is healthy. Going to wait alittle while till maybe the start of the summer then get Dusty's Wings clipped, he needs to learn how to fly first. Okay had Dusty now nearly 2 days and wow so much fun. We have found that he loves his own reflection put him next to a mirror and hes happy. Is this a Grey thing or is Dusty just Vain. Who else's Grey likes there own reflection. thanks Jag ( John and Cath )

Gratz hope everything goes well. We are new owners too only had Dusty about 12hrs and hes made himself at home also got catherine and i well trained too lol

He seems to have made himself right at home hes playing with toys and eatting/ drinking. My son and i went to pet world and got him another little toy one you put treats in and he has to work out how to get it out. He's having a ball with the new toy. He is friendly but still nips alittle we just cover his head with our hand and he stops but i dont mind hes worth it. Thanks for the info about getting him out guys we will and at this moment hes sitting on hes cage door Flapping(but holding onto the door). We will let him teach us what he wants.

Hey everyone just to let everyone know catherine and i collected Dusty this morning and hes now home with us. Hatch date is :- 11 . 12 . 07 were going to give him a few days to settle in then we will get some photos posted. So thanks to all for letting us join in the family. Ive never read so many posts on one forum but there is some REALLY good info here so i'm happy. he's sitting here eatting so he must be feeling reasonably ok. Hi everyone Cath and i live in England just outside Newcastle near the coast.

Breeder just phoned can pic my bundle of joy up and 10:30 2morro Cant Wait. i feel like it my 4th child.

My wife and i just in the process of getting our first parrot(We've had love birds before and enjoyed them). We bought a nice cage found a breeder and we should get our bird in the next few days ( getting a nice friendly baby). After reading on your forum we're going to get a health check and maybe a sex check just so we know. Anyway once we get our bird i'm sure we will post some pic.
