Thanks, I'm just looking at mini macaw as a "maybe" future bird and I've ruled out the severe(after doing alot of resources) becouse it dosen't like like the right bird for me. I'm look at the Illiger and the hahn macaw now.

Can you buy these birds. I heard they were hard to buy, am I right/wrong? Anyone have any of these birds, if, so can you give me some info in them. Thanks!

It dosen't make sence to me either! As of right now in my family we have two different type's of macaw a blue front and a african grey plus 4 childen under the age of 7 and the only problem we have is the blue front pertenting to cry like the baby. oh, the fun we have:P

Young but wise beyond my years.However I do think I'm one( if not the youngest.) person on this site. The puppies are about one and half now, and not mine anymore they were from our chiuchua, tinkerbell's, first litter. Thank's! you have a nice family too. I saw you bitting problem and thought this might help. Here is a link for training video, one video should help you with bitting. I personally have three video but mostly for trick, but the video are really easy to follow. I know is say's macaw taming but he list grey too. http://www.macaws-training.com/ hope this help, and I believe you can get a video free for 3 or 4 days something like that, but don't quote me, I may be wrong.

Well, we only put him in his cage at night, at first we keep him out all night on the perch with our blue front, but he like to explore. But thanks toy's is a good idea, but don't react I don't know that, thank's!

Ok, I trying the picture again, hopefully, it will work. My family and I just got the grey today. It's four years old and it's last owner die, suddenly, and the family didn't want the bird and they were selling the bird, so, we brought him. his name is chad. Then we have an 8 month old green winged macaw name, Sammie, who is the sweetist bird, he can wave and drop a key in a cup. And just love's attention, if I let him, He'd just hang out on my arm all day, but he heavy. We have a 4 month old Blue and gold macaw, Olivia, she a bit more shy, and truth be told, like my sister more than me, but still a very good bird. And now are last bird, Elliot, is a blue front Amazon. He about a year old, and love kiss and will come to you arm but hate to be pet at the moment. We think it's becoue he was caged most of the time at the pet store we got him but he doing better about the petting since we got him. Well, that's are bird.
