Coco

How long would you say is the norm. for a Grey to adjust to their new home? Coco was coming out of the cage on her own,but we may have had a little setback. She was on the outside of the cage and I tried to get her to come to me,and when I reached to get her she kinda freaked out a little tried to fly off.Now she doesn't seem to want to come out on her own. I know...I know I tried to rush it.
4. Thank you, I don't know why I was having so much trouble,I guess my brain is not working to well lately. Thanks for your help

Post edited by: jdr, at: 2008/03/10 01:02

Sleepy

Coco seems to be sleepy at times today, could it be that since we just brought her home yesterday that she may not have slept well last night. Is this normal,I think that I'm a little paranoid.
10. WE were pretty surprised that she is coming out of her cage just hours after gettint her home:) She will come out and climb up on top of the cage.
11. Thanks for all the replies, she is really eating away now,so that is a good sign, right?
12. We have been back for 2.5 hours. We have agreed on Coco for her name. Everything seems to be going pretty good so far.
13. Oh well I tried,I have not figured out how to post a photo yet. Help please.
14. Sorry about posting that so many times I don't know why that happend
15. We will probably go see the baby grey tomorrow, and yes probably bring her back home with us.I fully trust the breeder,so I'm not worried about exposing this grey to my Severe Macaw as far as disease goes. The question I do have is my son who is 12 wants us to get a little parakett for him. They have some at a local pet store,so what do you think the danger would be from the parakett? should we keep it in another room for a while?
16. Ok, how do I get a photo from my profile to this post?
17. Does $900 sound like a fair price for a CAG?
18. I talked to the breeder that we got Bandit from (our Severe Macaw from) he told me that he has a 7 month old dna sexed female CAG that they had thought about keeping, but he would sell to me. One good thing is we have met these peolple before, also it wouldn't be quite as far to drive.

Having a problem posting today
20. Something went wrong with the first post so I will try this again. I called the breeder that we got Bandit from (our Severe Macaw) he told me that they have one CAG that's around 7 months old.DNA sexed female,he said they was thinking about keeping her,but would sell her to us if we wanted her. One good thing is that we have met them before, also it wouldn't be quite as far to drive.
