My three greys will not go anywhere near my shower, they get a good misting which they appear to enjoy as they spread their wings & make alot of noise Alfie & Freddie both try to bath in the water bowl.Coco my re-home was never misted but she too appears to be enjoying it.
Hi xxbeccyxx, thats Freddie he was born with 2 pink toenails they are no different in size from his others,i have seen pictures of just a few greys with them.My Friend Lesley who breed them said that it was nothing for concern & Freddie has had no problems,I'm not sure but it may be just a lack of pigmantation
Tari, i love the official poop T-shirt
I could do with one of thoose
xxbeccyxx, so true ,why does no one tell you that you have poop on you while your out & you only discover it when you return home
I intend to stay, that's if your have me ?
My 3 greys go nuts when i vacume their room, they sing & talk as loud as they can & Alfie hitches a ride with me while im doing it As for baths they have a good misting but wont go near my shower,i have read also that the noise from the vacume cleaner reflects noises heard in the wild.
I always thought yogurt was bad for them, I also belong to a UK forum & i know that no one there feeds their greys yogurt, that's why i wanted to join a second forum that didnt just exist of us Brits,I really wanted to broaden my knowledge & get other peoples experiences & opinions from outside the UK
Way to go  i just casually mention I'm going to get another one & just go & get it.I don't need his approval & after being married for 21 years if he doesn't know me by now he never will
Talon i will pass you're message on
Thanks, they only have a small cube of cheese as a treat about once a fortnight & that's the only dairy product they have,
My little rescue Coco who has been with me just 3 weeks was fed yogurt by her previous owners !boy did i have to bite my tongue
I just came across you guys while doing an internet search ! lurked around for about 5 mins then joined  I do belong to a UK forum but thought it would be nice to share experiences, advice etc.. with people other than us Brits
My supplier has just started selling a new product of protein treats, would like to know if anyone else has feed their greys anything similar to this ? Below is a brief description.
It has always been important to give all parrots a source of protein in their diet. With this product made from chicken you can easily feed a small amount of protein as a treat which they will love. Simply give them two pieces of Protein Natural a day to a parrot such as an African Grey or Amazon to balance your parrots diet. The 100g pot contains over 200 pieces and is made from approximately 500g of dehydrated chicken. £3.95 100G.
They are wonderful pictures Maybe i'll have a game with my 3 greys !!
Is Baltic Ave an expensive one ? i think it would be the equivalent to our Uk Park lane which everyone wants to buy
FairY what a pity you are unable to view them, i'll post my phtotbucket link & see if you are able to view my pictures,be warned there's hundreds on there

Hi I was originally from Wimbledon, Home to the Tennis !!I moved to a small town called Bexhill-on-Sea which is in East Sussex roughly 9 years ago, 5 mins from the sea & you Beccy ?
.Your daughter is very young at Two, i would keep her out of harms reach for her own safety,im not saying don't let her see the bird but only under close adult supervision & from an appropriate safe distance,A two year olds behaviour & actions can easily stress a grey out.Even at this early age try & educate your daughter on your grey.
Gosh a small world ! I am from wimbledon, yes the Tennis !! i lived in Worcester Park, i have family in Epsom, Morden & Banstead. I now live in Bexhill-on-sea
approx 15 mins from Eastbourne.
Hi Noely, i think its personal preference if you go with a pellet or seed diet.As Lidia quite rightly said a good balance is required.I see you are in Ireland, i am in the UK & use a company called Rob Harvey ;He specializes in Avian diets & i know many people that use him,if you check out his website & would like any advice on the products please ask me.
