I have the babble ball.Lets say it was fun for two weeks.Alcazar didnt care for it.Everytime he palyed or the cage rattled it went off.I got pretty annoying so now its in the basement in a junk drawer. Im going to donate it to my mom when she gets a bird.....haha

I use a heat perch.He was afarid to go on it so I placed it near his snack bowl he uses it then. Warm up his Talons.

I asked my vet if I had to vaccinate Alcazar since at the time the dogs were getting vaccinated he said no.

I have each of their carrier cases beside their cages inside their carriers I have a gallon ziploc bag of food for each bird. Of course this gets replenished every Sunday.You may never know must be prepared. We do have a more exstensive evacuation plan due to the daycare.Everyone should have one though. Thanx for the post.

Alcazar can glide 8ft downward off his cage.He just cant fly upward.Thank goodness

Thanx Dave, I think I'll buy that set.I love the handles then I can hang from pot rack. The handles have a hole too. Price seems reasonable.

I was going to buy Alcazar a happy hut until I found a post that someone's Timneh was injured by one.Thyey found him hanging upside down threads were got caught on the foot and the Timneh chewed good portion of its foot and two toes.I thad to have 50 stitches to repair its foot. I have the website but I dont know how to post links.

I know the feeling of getting. I had to buy blinds because the others were getting bent.Alcazar was on his cage playing being too quiet I looked over and he chewed one of the strips of the new blind.I just said ohhhhhh Im having honey roasted garlic African Grey for dinner tonight.

Oh my heck yes!! Alcazar just attacks his bell like crazy.He even growls at it and shakes it so much.Its amuzing.

Nice cage.He can open the door? Doesnt yours have the circles and isnt your bowl under a cage wire on the door? Alcazar's does that.OMGosh I better look at Delilah's and Dakota's.Your cage looks like their's just a different color.

When I saw this on TV I laughed.Its a fav of mine.

I belong to a local Bird Club, this months news letter gave a fruit fly tip that I will share.Just leave left overs from your bird's veggie dish or a banana peel into a plastic bag.Leave the bag open over night on the counter.The flies will go into the bag to feed during the night-in the morning carefully close the bag and toss the flies in the trash. Do this a couple nights to clear up the problem. So if I ever get that problem I will try it.
