My Grey can whistle the Adams Family better than your Grey

Alcazar was microchipped. His was inserted by a shot between his breast bone. The one we used is called Home Again Pet Recovery Service.He didnt show signs that it hurt or anything. Our vet said that it worked twice that he knows of on birds that were found in 2 years time.

When ever Alcazar sees anyone with food and he wants it he says, HEYY..It wasnt taught to him so I dont know how or why he started to use it.

Even though Dakota and Delilah are breeder birds I still enjoy them. I got both on PetFinder site. When I bought them they didnnt have names and they are 12 years old. I let this forum name them.We had a poll. They act themselves except Dakota has this Stevie Wonder swaying head going on. I tease him about it. Not that he knows who Stevie Wonder is.haha. Advise I would give. They are screamers. Beaware of that. But fun to have.

African Greys have a mind of their own.It's easier if you start off with a baby. They can grown to love you. As he/she get older you can identify his body movements. Another thing, keep doing your research.I always wanted a Grey and it took me a year to research one to make sure it was the pet for me. Buy an African Grey book.Learn more about it then decide from there.

Wow..Very sorry to hear this.I'm just happy I have Alcazar chipped.If this happens I'll make sure that the humane socoiety takes a scanner to scan his microchip. Good way to prove he's mine. It will be a long process for you to prove this.I would call the police too

When you try out some of their bird treats.haha..My son Sean one day saw the hot chili peppers in one of Alcazar's treats and he said ohh those are not real.I said yes they are.Hes like well ok but they cant be original and be hot.I told him yes they are.Wellll he had to see to prove me wrong.He tried it then ran for a glass of water..HAHA Sean, mom knows best...LMAO

The African Grey sure does a mind of their own. I know w/Alcazar he did like the Ex at the time more than me and Im his owner. Now Alcazar loves everyone in the house but now Im his fav. It depends all on them who the want more.

If I had a girl today her name would be a toss up these 2 names..Olivia or Mackenzie
