I wanted to share my photos I took Saturday at the bird fair my bird club has every year. We have birds, foods, toys, cages, seminars and of course lots of fun. I enjoyed myself but by the end of the day was bird tired. I hope you enjoy them, a few may make you smile and a few may make you laugh and a few may make you go awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, how cute. I'm still working on the bird fair photos, will have to wait a bit for that.

I wouldn't trust my bird to anyone else but an avian specialist. She is just to precious to me.

I didn't know that the eyes dilate voluntarily, just goes to show you can learn something new every day and I think I learn it here.

Oh I knew you would make a wise decision. He will compensate for the loss, they have to do that in the wild or die, and be loved for the rest of his life. Autumn, this will take time and patience so go slow and don't push for more that the grey will accept. It will take more time to establish a relationship with an older bird versus a baby but it will result in time well spent and you will be rewarded with a loving friend for life. Oats are great, I feed mine some every morning too. She is 1 year, 1 month old and she gets a little oats, some baby food, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash and such with a little bit of red palm oil every morning. She loves it too, I will feed it to her for as long as she wants it. Its one way to get a little vegetable into them.

I knew their eyesight was good but super vision, now that is amazing.B)

Mine doesn't seem to like the feel of a banana, I've offered it to her several times and she has watched me eat it but after one taste she refuses it.
