Yeah I know of some other people who just give them a chunk of a wood 2x4 to keep them busy, you don't have to spend a lot of money on toys, but most of us do, I know I do. Thats NOT funny, greylover, it could be deadly, we have bacteria in our mouths that could kill our greys, never, ever let them inside your open mouth.

Hello Arno, yes by all means try some baby food, my grey Josey still eats some in the mornings and she is over a year old now. Then try some cooked, mashed or chopped vegetables, try offering them in different shapes to entice her to eat them. And I feed Josey the baby food on a baby spoon, it is smaller and she can get it off it better.

I'm there with you too, Tari, and my guts are wrenched just reading these posts, and the blue one is my favorite anyway. Just keep doing what you are doing and all of us will pray for your little one and we will be standing by to hear the good news that she will be ok. I feel your pain, Tari, and god bless.

Sunny is the most popular name for the sun conure, duh, it looks so sunny, CD also has a sun conure named Sonny, sounds the same just not spelled the same. I was not being very creative when I named her, and I assume its a she as she is not sexed, I didn''t care one way or the other. She is almost like a velcro bird, she stays on my shoulder and goes with the flow, if I bend over or move around she hangs on. She is my constant companion and a very loving bird.

Well congrats on your new purchase, sad that you did not pick a grey but sometimes it is the right thing to do to let the bird pick you and the amazon picked you. Don't know of any amazon forums but if you google it I am sure if there are any it will show them. I assume wicked means good, I am not of the younger generation so some of these terms are unusual to me. My grey can laugh like me exactly.

More so, you can play with them and give them all kinds of candy and then send them home so you can rest. You will find out some day and you will be called Nana or Grandmaw or something like that, mine call me Nana. {Characters-000200D2}

Well finally someone is close to my age, but I still have 3 years on you. Glad to hear you are a survivor, I've had family members who weren't so lucky. 8 grandchildren from 2 sons, congrats to you, I only have 3 grandchildren from a son and a daughter, and it ends there as both are fixed now.
