I'm pretty sure mine did a little growling, you are new to them so they are naturally afraid, but if you are bringing it home tomorrow stay and observe them and see if one seems to accept you before the others do, if so that is the one to pick. Let us know how things go and how you decided on the one you picked and get some photos of you new little one.

Well I'm all for that, easy to clean is what I want.

This is the first time they have seen you and so you are a stranger to them so don't worry about that. I don't think there is anything wrong with the calm one just it's personality is different from the other 3. I would visit with them another time or two before I picked one out, maybe it will pick you sometimes it happens that way. I would get Harrison's High Potency pellets, they are recommended by most vets.

That is so adorable with the dog, I love them together, thanks for sharing those with us, you can really see the difference a few weeks make.

Congratulations Penny on reaching the 1000th post on this forum for greys. I know you are happy to have achieved this mark and you should have accomplished it sooner. You see I have been chasing your tail since we joined a former forum and I managed to catch up and pass you in the past few days for the first time to take this distinction first. You should have been at that mark first but now you are here with CD and I, and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me for the three of us to be here together, sharing our stories, pictures, questions, answers, jokes and the general good times we all have here. Penny and CD are two of the finest people you will ever meet and they share a love of their greys and helping the other members of this forum with their problems and questions. I think Penny will make an excellent Moderator for this forum and we already know that CD is very good at being an admin. Penny’s daughter, Melissa, has done an excellent job on the banners for our celebration of these milestones and my heartfelt thanks goes to her, I think she may have found her calling in life. Penny you will not have to chase me any more as I know you will be taking the lead again, this ole girl is slowing down, so we are looking forward to celebrating again in a few months for your 2000th post, you go girl. I like a good joke, greylover, but when you kiss your grey just don't let him into the moist part of the mouth, the outer part of your lip which is dry is fine. And to be on the safe side when you have a cold or something else I would advise you to lay off even that.

Karla, I am horrified to hear of this, how could anyone just decide not to keep their bird and drop it off like that at a pet shop and then someone else keep it in such filthy conditions. I am proud of you for stepping in and offering to buy the bird, lord only knows it needs some loving attention, and I'm sure you could provide that for it. Keep us informed on this situation and get some photos but it will be hard to look at them, I can't stand to see them in such horrible conditions. Karma to you Karla.
