1. No I don't think you really need the hatch papers, you have the leg band and that is enough especially if you are going to keep him. I wouldn't worry about that. Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us more about you and Max.
2. OMG you live next to a pub, how convenient is that, well I guess you won't be able to stand on your own two feet tomorrow, right:blink: Dagnabit, I wish I could come but it is out of the question right now, have to make it next year, ok:laugh: B)
3. Poof it's over at this moment but then you realize that you have no food in the house for it and now you have to leave it to go to the store and shop. I wish my cold would magically disappear tonight.
4. Yeah lots of people would miss her but I missed her the most and I can't express in words how happy I am that she went out and got that laptop, 7-10 days without her would be unbearable.
5. I was afraid of that, I hope she took our advice and took her grey to the vet, I hope it is going to be ok and she comes back on and lets us know something.
6. OMG Tiffani, baby quakers, I hope you do have some, so thats what you are up to getting this male quaker, you go girl:laugh:
7. Oh boy Siobhan, what a good list of drugs for women, where can I get these, I need them all {Feel-good-0002006E}
8. Well thats true, look how he loves to curl up in a fish tank, not much of a guard there is it, but I have seen for myself how those little dogs can act real fierce and make a bigger dog cower in defeat, now that is funny.
9. Yep I like that one too and also the last one, the girl she is a cute one too.
10. Thata girl, you celebrate two days, yes I heard about that but here in America we celebrate it on Monday by wearing the green and cooking corned beef.
11. Josey does not pay much attention to what is on the TV much less a basketball game, I guess she is like me and does not care to watch sweaty 7 foot tall men run up and down the court, jeez, I got better things to do:laugh:
12. She hasn't been on yet but I doubt it, she seems like a level headed girl to me, but she gets a bumper sticker for having her photo picked for publishing.
13. Thanks Soibhan for another funny joke. BTW, Monday is St Patrick's Day, I'm cooking corned beef, cabbage and potatoes, yummy.
14. Probably her guard cat, you reckon!!! At 20 pounds I would love him too if I was a 1.5 pound dog, jeez:P
15. Any time Linda, we are here to talk to and for you to ask questions about anything that you have a problem with.
16. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww they got their eyes open, how cute and adorable are they, thanks Tiffani for sharing them with us, now I really want one, how can you resist a face like that:)
17. Thats right Tiffani, I remember now, the sunday conure, and you are getting a male quaker too, good golly girl, you just don't know how to quit do you LOL:laugh: Just kidding, you get as many as you like, its your house not mine:laugh:
18. You certainly would have to watch where you step with her around, one foot would squash her in an instant.
19. Hello Linda and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Buddy. We do have a number of members who have taken on the responsibility of rehoming an older grey and it is not an easy task but doable. You have to give it lots of time and use much patience when working with them. A month is not long enough for Buddy to trust you yet, since he has had several homes and lord knows how he was treated in those homes it will take a lot of time for him to learn to trust you and bond with you. But you are making progress and you will continue to do so as long as you take it slowly and easy. He may never come to allow any cuddling but I would imagine he may eventually allow some neck scratching, most do and when he trusts you I think he will too. Being a mature bird he is more independent and wants to be to himself more on a perch and not on you so don't take that as rejection, that could change as he learns to trust you more. Take a little time and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have. We will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Buddy you would like to share with us we would love to see him.
20. She is a cute little bugger, Tiffani, and so little, tiny in fact, thanks for sharing a few more pictures of her with us. And that one where she is kissing Shane, ewwwwww, his lips touched dog lips, do you kiss those lips now:laugh: just kidding, I know you do but after he has wiped them off right:cheer:

Post edited by: judygram, at: 2008/03/14 22:55
21. Claire there is a pic of her little dog in this thread: http://www.greyforums.net/forums/limitstart/40/other-birds/60093-mommafawkes-other-birds.html But maybe she will post another one for us.
22. It always does when you are waiting on something you have wanted for a while and what kind of conure are you getting Tiffani, maybe you told me but I forget, senior moment:whistle:
23. Thanks Tiffani for trying to find the issue it was in:P
24. Well most of us here have more than one bird so keeping two or more different kinds of birds is a piece of cake, as a lot of us suffer from MBS which means we cannot stop at one bird. I like those two names you have picked out and I look forward to hearing a lot more about you and your baby. If you need anything all you have to do is ask.
25. Well don't be so shy and share some of them with us Tiffani, we would like to read some of them I'm sure.
