That poor little birdie and you had enough wits about you to do what it took to help him, I would have been a frantic mess. Looks like you may have to make sure this bird gets enough water in him to keep the process moving from now on, glad you shared that story with us.

Beau looks like he has some tail feathers missing but he is a cutie, thanks for sharing him with us Julie.

Tam I am so sorry to hear about Moe's passing, you poor dear, you must be devastated but he is not in any pain, he is flying freely over the Rainbow Bridge. Just know that Moe loved you very much just as you loved him in the very short life he lived, please accept my condolenses on your loss.

George is a cutie pie, thanks for sharing some pictures with us. Greys are foragers, they eat all day long so be sure to provide some food for him all the time so he can snack on it.

Griffin is still getting used to his new home, remember everything is new to him right now so it stands to reason he is a little scared, give him some time to become familiar with his new cage and home. Some greys look at their cage as their safe place and he may resent you intruding into his space so let him come out of his cage on his own and see if he likes that better. Let him decide when he is ready for you to handle him some so just be patient. You will find greys will chew thru toys in quick time so have plenty on hand to keep him busy, you can browse thru the toy and playstand room for some ideas of homemade or cheap toys to provide for Griffin.

I hope this does work for Tobie, Josey's vet said nothing about pulling those broken feather shafts, keep us informed.

What a great thread Jill, we all need to read these reminders so we can enjoy a safe holiday with our family and fids, thanks for sharing it.

Doesn't it feel great to be able to take her and she enjoy it, most of them do and now you know you can take her along on those kind of trips and I am sure the others enjoyed seeing her, glad you both had a good time and thanks for sharing the pics with us.

You better watch out Jill, Harvey is planning his next move and you won't see it coming, he is a sly little fella but don't feel so bad as it happens all the time.
