that is how the beak is attached I think. All parrots have that hole under their beak. Can we see some pics of that please?

Judy I found Aloe Vera in a Pharmacy here in Gel form. It was VERY expensive for UAE Standards. I am still finding Palm Oil here. But my questions is Aloe Vera in Gel is okay?

Hi and Welcome to the forum. Hope Honey is doing good. Take it slow. Honey is just5 months old. That is the perfect age. I bet she will turn around in just a couple of weeks. MAximum a month. Please, never hit her on the beak. Or give an evil eye.; That will just push you back to square one or worse beyond. The parrot doesn't understand a beak tap as behavior correction (unlike humans) to it, that would be a game to get attention. BUT the evil eye will deffinately tell the bird that you are a predator or something harmful. Animals communicate a lot with eyes. Hope you two get along well soon.

You bought a baby on an impulse. Well now that you already got it, PLEASE read as much as you can on the babies and African Grays in general. Make sure the crop empties atleast once a day between feeds. You can read my post on Hand Feeding Dangers. And another by lovemygreys in this Nursery section as well. It is also time to start introducing your baby to real food as fresh veggies, fruits, bread some egg etc... Locate a vet in your area and see if you can talk to him for a little guidance. Hi, Just wanted to know the cutest things your babies do. Things that just make you go..awwwwwwwww I love youuuuu Friday loves to come to me and tuck his head under my arms or I tuck it under my shirt and he sleeps on my lap as I work on the laptop. He looks like a squished chicken when he does that though. lol Last night he laid on me till 3 am.

I am an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. I work for Siemens. I am mainly responsible for commissiong of Instruments and I am learning the Siemens controls systems. I love my job and my boss who hates to see me in the office!

hey how come Friday has bald spots at 9 weeks? His bottom (the part behind the legs till the tail is bald and then his neck is bald too. Not even white fur there.
