lol that's so funny! Well Sully HATES hats. Freaks him right out when someone is wearing one, even me and my husband. So our house is a strictly no hat zone. Sully has a hanging perch in our living room that he hangs out on when we are watching television. I swear he understands a good comedy or can sense a laugh coming on because he will crack up laughing during the most perfect moments.

So Sully is one clever bird! He's started this new thing when he's on my hand and I'm asking him to step up onto something, he will go limp bird and hang on my hand/fingers upside down like a bat. It's adorably funny really, but slightly annoying when you're in a hurry! He'll literally be upside down as I'm resting his back on the perch saying "step up" but he just lies there swinging his head around refusing to stand up totally playful-like. I'll try to get a video of it! It's so funny! Anyone elses feathered friend do this?

That's very very sweet I remember when Sully and bedtime were two words that you could never put together! I can definitely relate. He hated going into his cage at night and I would feel just terrible locking the door on him as he fought to stay out. I wish I knew then what I know now! But we worked through it together and now bedtime is the sweetest time for us Sully gets so cuddly, wanting to share whatever he's eaten recently, wanting scratches and rolling right over to his back (which is new!!!). We needed a routine and understanding. That we have now So happy you two figured out what works for you both as well!!

lol Yeah he was just about to start beat boxing. He's gotten so good at it, which is surprising because my husband is the one who taught Sully and my husband is terrible at it! lol I've only been able to capture a few videos of Sully full on breaking out the beats. It's priceless when he adds the body movements in like this one

True! Never thought of that. Honestly since posting this it's been on my kitchen window and he seems to really enjoy it there. The bird feeder is right outside, plus it's right next to the dining table lol In the meantime I'll have to think of something else for the shower. My hand will just have to perch it out a little longer!

I'd want to look deeper before giving up! Clearly something is wrong Noodles is upset and maybe you can figure out why. How long has he been plucking and biting? When does he bite? What's going on? What changes have happened recently? Etc.

I finally decided to buy a shower perch online. My hands (specifically my right hand) look terrible after taking Sully into the shower. He usually perches on the shower rod until I'm ready, then he steps up onto my hand for some shower time. He goes nuts in there! Flapping his wings, hanging upside down on my hand, trying to run up and down my arms, all the while chatting and whistling. Needless to say I'm usually pretty scratched up afterwards lol But the darn shower perch won't stick to the tile walls. It has three large suction cups, but nope, won't stick. However it does stick to my windows so right now it's in my kitchen. Anyone have any luck with shower perches or ideas! For some reason I can't upload a picture of it, but this is the one I bought
