Talon
Thank you Dave for reminding our members that this is just a "FORUM OF GREY OWNERS" not experts. Our advice is strictly that, advise based on our own experiences and personal opinions and not meant to used in place of a "professional" expert licensed in the avian medical practice. judygram
Thanks for reminding us Dave that none of us is qualified to give "expert" advice here, we give our opinions that we have made concerning our own personal experiences and that never takes the place of a licensed avian vet. Dimitri89
Thanks for that but it would be better if you could share some link for it. Actually, the other links are not responding. I'm confused that either it is an IP problem or something else.personal training In Hawthorn Edited October 30, 2012 by Dimitri89
FirstPenguin
Maybe we should have directory of the recommended avian vets we use, or better yet a google map of some kind. I worry people will call up any old cat and dog vet who will tell tell them they treat birds when really no one on staff really focuses on birds. Is there a good way to even find a directory of board certified avian vets?
JennS
Yes, all vets are not equal in the case of birds! Find an actual avian vet. My girls go to Dr. Fuller at the Ellensberg Animal Hospital in Ellensberg WA. We drive a ways to see him, but I think it is worth it!
Greytness
In San Diego Dr. Jenkins is a renowned and highly recommended avian vet. Quite the character, too!
