RoadSpawn
Hello I've looked through google but can not find pics of the two together for size comparisons. If anyone has such pics could you please post. Thanks Robert

DavidH
Beautiful pictures. I had no idea the CAG loomed that much larger when they're next to each other. Now I want a TAG too -- adorable!
BMustee
There is a pretty good range in sizes in CAGs and TAGs. The Congo's can weigh anywhere from 400 to 650 grams where the Timnehs can weigh between 275 to 400 grams. My little girl Elmo is a very small Congo, she comes in at 403 grams so she isn't THAT much bigger than the usual Timneh.
nims
Hi, Bmustee is right. Some CAGS are small Indy weighs in at 400grams no bigger than a timneh while Ice my other cage weighs in at 555grams. Im sure timnehs also vary in size too.
BMustee
I've seen quite a few TAGs and they are normally around 300 to 350 grams...they don't seem to have the huge fluctuation in size as the CAGs do. I've yet to see a timneh as big as Elmo, but it seems that the females are almost always noticeably smaller than the males in the Timnehs. Because there is such a big size range in the Congos I have seen small and large females and small and large males...although 90% of the CAGs near 400 grams are female.
Toni
Those are nice to see them together like that.Thanx for posting. Vet said Alcazar is small for being a congo which is ok by me.
Goralka08
Our TAG falls in the range that Bernadette (BMustee) posted between 300-350. Kenzie is weighing in @ 313 grams now.
