Dave007
1 CAG-------575 gms----------parents, male is 580 gms, female is 606 gms 1 CAG-------455 gms----------parents, have no idea what they weighed. I adopted him. 1 TAG-------325 gms----------parents, have no idea what they weighed. I also adopted him. A CAG shouldn't weigh a certain figure just because he's a CAG. The adult weight of a CAG has to do with how big the adult bird's frame is. Small boned, medium boned, large boned. The same applies to TAGs

Timbersmom
Well I finally got Timber on the scale, and yikes! He weighs 271 grams (TAG). Guess the vet wasn't kidding when she said he was a small bird. I think he has actually put on some weight since I've had him, and his breastbone isn't protruding anymore. I'm going to try to weight him weekly just to track it.

Darwinsmom
Darwin was 520 grams at 16 weeks, he lost a bit in the first week he was home, less eating and more activity coming home, but has regained it pretty much. He was 517 yesterday at 18 weeks old. I think he's going to be a big boy.
