Hi everyone, can anyone tell me about female and male without dna test. Puppies from the same hatchery are approximately 9 months old. Their body structures and wings are different from each other, I think the male whose tail is clearly visible is a female whose wings are longer and extend to the tail, I would like to know your thoughts.

Mine were all dna sexed.  Short of a parrot breed that is sexually dimorphous, I have no idea how to tell until they fully mature.

For parrots only a dna test will tell you for sure what sex they are..you can guess, but it will only be a guess

Some people say you can tell from the shape of the head and colours around the tail but I've always been told a DNA test is the only sure-fire way of finding out.

Macaws are a little easier to visually sex by the rounder female head vs slightly flatter male head top, imo. 

But the easiest parrots to visually sex are the Eclectus parrots.  lol

DNA sexing is the best option for a youngster.  With a mature female parrot, well, the laying of an egg is sort of a giveaway.
