joea Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Found this article in today's NY Times. Wondered if anyone else has heard of this and/or would be interested in setting up something similar? I'm more and more unable to interact with Azimuth as much as she needs, and deserves, and needs more. I've even considered re-homing her but have found no interest locally. Please let me know what you think. 1
Greytness Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Hi Joea, I'm so sorry to hear you are still struggling to interact with Azimuth. I haven't heard of video chat for birds, and did not see a link for it in your post. Would love to read the article. Hopefully someone will come along with some help for you here. 2

SRSeedBurners Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 It's crossed my mind to set something up between all of us here. Our own social birdy network. 1
neoow Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 Sounds like a great idea! I've done similar in the past with some grey owners I met on twitter. Two of us were from the UK, one in America (CA) and one in Japan. It was mostly the human's chatting away but all of our birds were around too. Alfie wasn't overly interested about being on the call, he was mostly flying around getting up to no good. And if he did opt to join in then he mostly just wanted to chew the tablet I was using. 😂 1
