terryspear
I share my office with Corey [a CAG]. She is usually talkative during certain parts of the day. Normally, Corey is not too loud but she can certainly increase the volume to get attention [or if I have a video playing on my computer that she feels she has to compete with]. A couple of months ago, my husband suggested I buy a set of noise-cancelling [it cancels the outside noise] headphones. I splurged and bought a nice, comfortable set of headphones that have wonderful audio. Now, I can escape the Grey chatter when it get too high by listening to some nice music. Totally worth it!
SRSeedBurners
Mine are just the opposite. If they're in my office with me when I'm working, they're quiet as little church mice. Huey will fly down and attack my headset occasionally. He's a little weirdo about that.
neoow
Alfie has a second cage in my office so he can come and hang out with me whilst I work from home. He also has a java tree on my desk and a shelf he likes to play on so I sometimes let him out if I don't have too many calls. He's not normally that noisy. Sometimes he'll beat the snot out of his toys which clang against the side of the cage but that's probably as bad as it gets. I might get the odd whistle or noise from him but he's mostly quiet. He's noisier if he's downstairs and I'm upstairs in the office. I have noise cancelling headphones and they are wonderful. I used them a lot at my previous job to help block out the sound of a colleague who was very noisy!
Timbersmom
Timber feels the need to compete with other sounds sources too. Fortunately, I'm retired and not trying to work. When of his standards is when I'm on the phone. After a minute (apparently he thinks that is the acceptable time for me to focus on something other than him) he will start saying "OK, Bye" at full volume. He's loud enough that I've had the person I was talking too ask what I just said or what that was.

I don't think this choice of words is merely coincidental!
LNCAG
My grey got his Christmas popcorn this AM. I'm not a big popcorn fan, so this was made especially for today. Lots of little thoughts for my guys (my cat got wet food (not a daily thing for her), bearded dragon got waxworms, etc.). My grey gets popcorn on Christmas because the parrot breeder I got my macaw from always did this and then it became my tradition for my parrots. Snickers was very happy! He literally ONLY ever gets popcorn on Christmas. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday this year!!!
Greytness
My greys and other birds LOVE receiving their popcorn treat!
Acappella
Dorian got a bunch of new boxes that he dragged all over the house and started to destroy. I'll have quite a bit of sweeping to do in the next few days. Little bugger didn't get me anything.

I don't eat anything that comes in boxes, so my neighbours save theirs for him. I'm blessed with good neighbours. I'll have quite a bit of sweeping to do in the next few days.
