AkkiDa
Blu uses teak wood perches, I have tried other woods also but he/she will chew them all and destroy them. Once in 7 days I use a Sandy Perch to keep her nails trimmed.
Greytness
I have a combination of dragon wood and rope perches. The sandy perches never worked for my flock.
terryspear
Like Greytness, we use a cotton, braided rope perch for Corey. We have different sizes so she isn't forced to keep her feet in the same position all the time. I captured a picture from the internet and pasted it into a document [attached] so you can see it. Corey really likes these perches. She also has a manzanita perch in her cage and she will go to that perch sometimes. RopePerch.docx
LNCAG
I use manzanita wood for his fave high perch, plus mine has a cage-width-wide pine perch (came with the cage and which I've replaced a few times), plus a cotton braided rope spiral swing, and an acrylic ring swing. They are all various thicknesses so he doesn't get foot fatigue. (I'm sad to report he also had a rough concrete perch in the 90s [supposed to keep nails trimmed] but I've changed my position on those and removed them).
neoow
Alfie has all sorts of different perches in and out of his cage. Java, manzanita, rope, 'calcium'/cuttlebone/mineral, 'bee pollen'. I make sure they are varied in shapes and sizes so his feet get a good workout 😄 Weirdly, Alfie has never chewed his perches- even the edible calcium/cuttlebone ones.
Timbersmom
Timber also has a variety of wood types and sizes, as well as a rope boing that goes to the ceiling. He doesn't chew on them either. Well except for the boing, he loves to chew on that and it has to be replaced pretty regularly or his talons will start getting caught in it.

Acappella
Dorian's playstand is a combination of java wood, cotton perches, and a hula hoop covered in cotton supreme rope. His cage is a combination of manzanita and cotton, including a boing. The only perch he chews is the hula hoop one.
