Charlie Parker
Hello all, So I've noticed the past couple of days charlie Parker making these little baby sounds and grunts when he wants scratched, it's so darn cute! He likes it when I lay my head down on the back of the couch so he can rest his beak on my cheek. The deep tissue massage starts and he just slowly crouches down till his belly is almost resting on the couch. He really enjoys his head and neck rubs. I also noticed that when he does this his Lil wings are open a bit. Anyone else experience this? I'm sure you have.
neoow
Yes Alfie makes similar noises and grunts and will lift his wings slightly. Charlie Parker loves you
Timbersmom
Timber also makes the baby bird sounds when he doesn't think he's getting his share of dinner...
SRSeedBurners
Is he primarily doing it in the evenings? Evening time is about the only time GreycieMae will press the top of her head against my cheek or she'll turn her head completely upside-down with her cheek against mine and gently grab hold of my ear/nostril/lip. She usually gets rewarded with a nice little finger scritch and some sweet-nuffins. She's a real sweetie-pie in the evenings, they all seem to have this characteristic about them. Charlie Parker
Charlie does it whenever I offer my cheek to him, he gets so excited. He's nibbling on some sea shells right now that are attached to a new coconut toy I got him today.
Acappella
Dorian wakes up in a cuddly mood and he's very free with kisses and cuddles in the evening and when I put him to bed. It does appear to be true for many of our greys that they get more mellow in the evenings when the lights are turned low. That's why it's good advice for people with problem or skittish greys to do some work building relationships in the evenings. They just seem somehow more receptive to people's overtures in the evenings.
kins2321@yahoo.com
Sophie has always been a snuggler and a serious regurg girl any time of the day. She loves her neck rubbed and loves to plant her beak under my left eye. Of course only once I trusted her, did I let her do this. She has been for more than a decade, doing this behavior. I still have my left eye! LOL Nancy
