Hello from Florida!

Hello, my name is Maddy, and I am a bird mom from Florida! I own six beautiful birds. A 17 year old Citron Crested Cockatoo named Jester, a 4 year old Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure named Honey, a 4 year old Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure named Precious, a 6 year old Pineapple Green Cheek Conure named Peatree, a 2 year old budgie named Dobby, and a 4 year old budgie named Bellatrix. I also own a year old cat named Harper, and also a family dog who is a 4 month old English Cocker Spaniel named Abby.

 

I joined this forum because I am the God-Parent to a Congo African Grey, and I have just been asked to take him. I need some advice, but will post about that in another thread!

I just saw your other thread. Well done for offering your home to the African Grey in need- despite already having your hands full with your current birds! I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will come along and offer some valuable advice shortly.

Welcome and after living with the dynamic demanding Conures I think you might just enjoy the more civilized Grey life style. I live with 2 budgies as well they are too cute!
