makita725
Well today it is official Lido is a BOY!!!!!!! 11 weeks old and doing great. He is flying quite a bit now, he flies after the kids from one side of the room to the other. He is starting to bite a lot harder than he had been and he just loves my toes!!!!!! We have been very busy here with introducing the B&G that I had no plans on having but that is how it is in the bird world!!!!!

makita725
I was very happy that he was a "he". Lido is flying all over the house now and doing pretty great with his landings. Does anyone have any input on when I should have him clipped alittle bit to keep him from flying away when we are outside? I have attached a few pictures, they are from about 2 weeks ago. I am going to try to get some new ones tomorrow.
Luvparrots
If a bird is clipped it can still be carried away in the wind. Many of person has lost a grey/bird because they believed it could not fly if it were clipped.
Jayd
Does anyone have any input on when I should have him clipped alittle bit to keep him from flying away when we are outside? . Hi, Janet is right, A Grey never clipped or not should be taken outside unless the are harnessed or in a cage. Just recently we lost our Spock, he flew away, He Wasn't Clipped, and we would never clip a parrot [except for medical reasons]and denie them they natural birthright...Only you can decide, there's a lot of good post on this subject. This one is hard to write about......Jay and Maggie
