WOW, Buddy looks greyt. Mom always told us to eat our veggies, lol. He looks content and proud. Did the AV tell you to remove the food for a health reason? If not as long as the food dosent go bad I would leave it for his comfort but maybe less in the eve. Does he get pellets as well? Those can sit in the bowl all day to munch on.

Ok, great! Thanks, Eileen! Yes, he is given pellets. He will be very happy to know I will be leaving his food in his cage. The av told me to remove his food bowl after a couple hours; not for any particular health reason. He said he has parrots and always removes the bowl. Buddy has always been used to having his food there in his cage all day, so this is where he is most comfortable.

Im glad for Buddy. The AV told you this because of what he does, Im sure well intentioned. Well buddy is special and needs nourishment and slow changes. Good for you.
