I have 5 birds soon to be 6 ...... I like mine in 2's.... I have 2 macaws and 2 umbrella cockatoos and one african grey .... I am getting another grey because I want him to have a aviary buddy. my macaws go out together and my toos and neither of the big birds like my grey. he seems to want to be near other birds. so my new rescue is for him

It it just scrap pine there is a company down my road that has a big box of scrap wood I bring home for the birds. I noticed graber loved his just on the bottom of his cage. not hanging on a chain. he spends hours gnawing around each knot he finds in the wood....carefuly revealing them

everyone has heard the old saying give a dog a bone! well give a grey some wood! and watch them create a masterpiece! I think graber is quite the little artist and enjoys spending his time crafting wood creatures! I am so proud of his whale!!!! arnt you? great job graber!!!! mama loves you!

my graber is 17 years old.. he is a rescue I took in 3 months ago. he had been abused in the past. for some reason he took right to me. he loves to cuddle anytime I take him out. his cage sits next to my computer and he chirps to come out and sit with me. he doesnt speak any words..... but he will use the same chirps for things he is trying to let me know he wants

ooooo I agree he doesnt speak words but he loves to whistle with me. he has only been here a week and a half and is learning bridge over the river kwai he does the first two whistles then I do the next section. it is fun and he has learned it so fast!

OOOOOOO I think he loves me he was just making this trill sound and holding his wings odd while doing a little dance for me. I opened the cage and he stepped up. I brought him out and close to my chest he made little trill sounds awwwwwwwwwww I held him for a bit then put him back on a good note
