hello i would like to say thanks for all the wonderful advice given on this site. i joined last week and it's one of the best things i have done. my question is i will be getting a baby grey in 4-7 weeks. i would like to use flannel material and towels in my bird cages. is it safe,and is original tide laundry soap and downy softener okay to use in my washer. this is all new to me and i want my birds cage and my home 100% percent safe for when the little guy gets here. any help would be appreciate. thank you

hello thanks for answering me. no i have never hand feed a baby grey or owned one. this is all new to me. i went threw a well know pet store here in Maine and was adviced to buy unweaned bird. the bird is already on it's way. from joining this site i have now learned this is not the best way.however it's too late to change and i just want to do all thats best for my bird. any help would be great.thank you

im new here and will be picking up my new african grey soon.however i was not lucky enough to find this site before i bought my bird. i will be getting a young bird that will need hand feedings 4xs a day. any advice would be really helpful.thanks
