We are having work done to our home. New Windows, Doors, Rewired, I mean a whole new make over lights I mean you think of it its going to be done pretty much. I am wondering if my plans I have for Diva is ok. I plan on taking her into a smaller cage and have in in the same room as I am hiding out in while the work is being done. However, I know that the noise is going to be sorta loud hammering and drills saws, My yorkie, hates it for we just had our roof replaces this summer. I hope I am planning correctly with Diva. Any Ideas would help. I have tought about taking her completely out of the house and have her places with my aunt until it was over but my aunt just had a bird at her home that just died they dont know the reason why. Just woke up and found him in the bottom of his cage dead. So I am sorta scared to do that. I don't really have any other ideas what do to .

Actually I have been saying No to Diva when she is doing something I don't want her to do and It has been getting her attetion. Then I have been removing her from the area she is getting herself in trouble at so far it has been working. Thanks

What kinda of human would do something like this? How sad! Breaks my heart to see this. They need to tie this guy(or whoever) to a tree in the middle of no where and let they see how if feels to not able to eat or drink and get all stressed out. I would take them all if I had a place. Makes me so sick to my stomache!!!!!!

Hahah Partner I know what u mean kinda like they are plowing something Diva has been doing that also. I think I have pretty much get her stoped doing that.

Ok, So she is out again. Started pickin the carpet again I just got her moved to completely different room. She went back in that room and started picking again she was almost in a run going back there. I moved her again told her no no no... so now she is sitting on the couch whistling at me and talking I actually think she is talking to the dog so completely ignores her even being here....lol Thanks all for the advice.

I did this with Diva telling her No!..She laughed at me..lol.. I made her move to a different place and she done it again. Move her from one room to the next. But the problem is my whole house is carpet . Only kitchen and bathroom isn't not the places I want her. She has come all the way downstairs today and back up the steps by herself may i am giving her to much freedom ? I would think not and hope not for I know that they should have run to play and run around the house.

Ok Does anyone elses Grey think our carpet needs a good chewin up? I let Diva do about anything she wants because, I have been just leaving her cage open just to get her freedom. But this moring I am sitting here and she decide to come out of her cage down and gets on the floor. She starts looking around for trouble I know thats what she is doing . I go over put some things in the floor she can have and play with but she picks them up throws they away from her. Starts walking everywhere in the up stairs. I am keeping an eye on her and i start hearing this picking sound she enough she is trying to chew my carpet to peices. I go make her stop try to offer something else and she moves in different areas trying to chew the carpet. Any ideas on what to do? I don't wanta close her cage door during the day. I want her to have her freedom. Like I have said in other post she has let anyone do anything with her until I got her. I don't wanta keep her locked up in the cage at all times when I am not in the room with her. She hasn't been doing anything bad like this until now. Funny thing about it when i sat on the floor to move her away from chewing the carpet she starts saying Diva's Diva's like that was her food or toy , something lol... Help any idea's would be great. So sad... The love between the two... I always also ways thought animals have feelings. I know for sure my yorkie does for when I get upset over something she seems to try and make me feel better and if i am sick she acts sick and will always lick my face I feel like its a comfort licks.

Diva and I have been getting a lot very well for the last couple days. She comes out of her cage comes all the way down to the bottom and will follow me everywhere just like a puppy. However, now she is doing tihs I have to keep her cage door shut more cause I am scared she might get out and me not know it and step on her or something or one of my dogs get after her. Even though she does have the bluff on Dixie and Bubbles...lol...just dont wanta chance it because there are 2 of the and 1 of her. She is also now bathing in her water dish. I thinking of getting a big bowl or pan of water for the bottom of the cage. any ideas?

Another day with Ms. Diva. Well, today was going well. I got her out of her cage we were playing and talking. I puther back and she climbed on top was sitting up there talking away while i was cleaning our mess me made up. I walk over to her cage and say Diva come give momma a kiss. I swear I think she tried to pee on me. She back her behind right towards me and had the poop look on her face and I dont have to tell ya what happen after that. I was like u dirty bird...lol left it at that. Not long after I did the same thing. and SO DID SHE!!!!!! Is she trying to mark me? Do they do that?

Don't be sorry guys. Really, I am new to her and I am open to any advice giving trust me I ain't like oh whatever yeah yeah .. I will look into getting her a harness.But maybe right now I will just hold off for a bit. I don't want anything to happen to my Diva. Only having her a week she has made me smile so much more I just love her to peices. My husband is starting to like her also. He just pretends he dont haha.... There really isn't any interesting story to tell today other then she bit me again cause I was misiting her before I had to leave for out of town. I wasn't able to make it back home untill 10:30 pm and she seems pretty excited to see me. But thanks for the advice all...

Diva can't fly. She seems like she don't know how to fly. But like I said I DIDN"T tie anything to her foot like I thought about because, I didn't want to maybe hurt her. She don't try to fly at all. I have taken her out twice and I hold her in both hands and we go sit in the grass togather I dont put her on anything she can fall off of.

Well, Diva and I are fine shes not mad at me anymore for misting her...lol... I have tought her tickle tickle under her neck..sooooo cute... everytime i get her out or any playing with her i rub under her neck and say tickle tickle and she is now learning tickle tickle everytime i do that... to cute!!!!... so this evening Ms. Diva and I went out for a walk in the yard. She was scared I could tell. I just keep petting her saying its ok baby its ok. She wasn't to bad out there. I do have a question Diva can't fly her wings have been clipped. I was going to tie a twine to her leg just in case but didn't he didnt even offer to take off. I put her on the ground she just found me around. Is the twine not a good idea? I was scared to harm her. I know not to tie it to tight but I am thinking not a good idea?... anyways she seemed to enjoy the fresh air as well as me. thats after getting her to not be scared anymore. She was fine. I brought her back in and she quacked at me like MOM i didnt wanta come back in haha... She's so funny!!!

Diva got her 1st mist down today she was not happy let me tell u . She sounded like i was killing her screaming yelling. She has never been misted down before until now. I was reading post and topics and i soaked her but down. Cause she dose have a lot of dry skin. She looks alot funny. I don't think she is to happy with me right now hahaha
