Hi Raphael. It is great that you have taken on a slightly older CAG. They do love to be out of the cage and I would think that a lot of people on here have problems getting them back in sometimes. She might be feeling strange in her new surroundings and just needs even more love and reassurance than normal. Does she have anywhere other than the cage where she can play........a stand or something. If she does, perhaps you could put that by you when you are busy with something else.

Hi, I always give Ollie half a grape or a raisin. He does love his grapes, so perhaps try that.

Hi, Just wanted to share this as it is quite exciting for me. Today, Ollie was in the room with me (out of his cage) for over two hours without attacking. He even let me get close enough to play with him on his play stand and take a photo. I did have a warning or two from him when I ventured too close but he didn't try to fly at me!!

You pick up the gold....and just as you start to dream of what you will do with it........you here a strange commotion. You look down and there they are......a million leprachauns!! They grab your legs and pull you over....you drop the crock and they pick it up and run. Before you can stand up......they have vanished with your crock of gold!!! You wake up one morning, to find the most georgeous hunk, dressed in full chauffeur uniform sat in your Limo. As you leave the house, he sees you and instantly falls in love!! You run into each others arms in slow motion....Unfortunately, he forgot to put the brake on and the limo careers down the hill and smashes into the brick wall at the bottom of the road. The wall falls down and your limo is no more! (well....you gave me left over piza......lol) I wish I could go just one day without someone moaning at me.

Hi Summerc25 and welcome. It is alays best to research well before taking on such a huge responsibility as a Grey. The one that you were thinking of may not have been an agressive bird, but may have been more of a one person bird. Some are and some will get on well with a number of people. We had our CAG from a baby and he will only go to my partner, but even so, I still get a lot of love from him in other ways. Having a Grey is a fantastic experience and everyone on here will help you a lot.
