i just add news paper and clean out at the end of the day as this soaks it up if you put a good layer down.

ok i want to ask a question if your living in the usa you might not be able to help ans this it to do with the uk laws. I went to my local parrot shop for toys and i asked about the harness and the leash that you can get and was told that in the uk you can not take a parrot out with one of these? its the law in the uk??? does anyone one know of this to be true? was told you can buy it but not use it out in public?. Would like to run this by you all as i think this is the biggest load of rot if you ask me.

i use news papers also but it is good to note here that magazines the glossy ones are not to be used so thing to do with the inks and also nothing soaks in

Kya loves to hang upside down on her ball and wings full out making lots of noise lol it is fun to watch. Now my hahns if i put him on the floor and add a waffle ball he goes mad and mean lol runs at it throwing it up in to the air.

First off id like to say i love my parrots and would not be with out them and my only wish is that i have them long ago before now. OK here goeshad for me to put in to words.. I sometimes feel that when you are asked what pets do you have and you say birds or parrots they give you that look as if to say they should be in the wild not your front room ect and it just gets me thinking?. I know most of our birds are captive bred BUT if we did not want them/not a demand for them they would be!. I hope you are getting what i am saying not very good at long posts :mad:. Id like peoples views on this as it means alot to hear them on this topic makes me sad for them in many ways but i like you all give the guys everything they need BUT is this enough?. same here kya is just over a year old and has these dots not everywhere just a few feathers here and there. i do use aloe as you posted above Danmcq. I have had a look online and have found nothing about it. All i did find was some hen birds have them the site was not about greys. Are there any cock birds that have them on this forums? just an idea;) worth looking at.

my grey hates it and will have nothing to do with it but hahns macaw will climb around it but thats as far as it goes unless i put him in it and he will stay looking out for a while.

i dont think they are stress bars as these are dots i will see if i can find anything? Lex
