Hi LouiesDad what a sad beginning but what a wonderful ending to Louis' travels. Karma to you for giving Louie such a loving forever home. I can't wait to see some pictures of this wonderful grey. I wonder if Louie can help me balance my checkbook, he certainly is much better with money than I am!!!!

Kipsie, my grey is 7 months old and is very quiet, she never screams. She only practices her words. I live alone so that probably has a lot to do with it. I believe because the house is quiet that's probaby why my grey is quiet too.

All of a sudden you come up with the best darn dream in the whole world, lights flash, church bells ring and birds fly but then the next poster comes along and crushes your spirit and once again corrupts that dream.... I wish all birds could fly free and have no fear or regret of returning home to their loving human whenever they wanted without fear of ever being caged again. The whole flock both bird and human are happy and free!

My Ana Grey doesn't fly so I have several toys hanging from her playtop and a cactus perch, grapevine perch, bendable rope perch, and a rope going from her cage to her cargo net which hangs in front of a window. This net also has several foraging toys hanging from it. She has places to go and things to keep her busy so she has learned not to follow me, yet if I am gone too long she will come and look for me. I put her in her cage if I think I will be gone more than several minutes. They are like any small child they want to be with their mommy or care provider. It's too bad we can't bell them!!!!:ohmy:

Bryan, I have read your blog and although my story is different the outcome is the same and I can tell you, you will not regret bring your new TAG into your life. My pug Lily and my TAG Ana Grey are my strength. Welcome to the family, I can't wait to hear about your new baby's homecoming and see some pictures.

Hi Mrstroudy congratulations on giving Coco a forever home. How old is Coco and how did you find him? I love to hear the history of the older greys and how they acquired their new forever homes. I would give Coco a little more time to grow to trust you after all he has no idea who you are and if he can trust you to want him forever. I personally would leave him flighted as it gives them more confidence. As an example, how would you feel if you broke both your legs!!! It would surely slow you down a bit and crush your spirit for awhile. Of course, it is a personal choice, one you have to decide on your own. I hope to see some pictures of Coco soon and hear more about how the bonding goes. Welcome to the family!!
