I called the numbers loviechick provided in 2007 for free samples and received the following: The large green bag is from Roudybush; the next three samples are from Hagen (Tropican pellets and Gourmet mix); the next four packets of Nutriberries and AviCakes and the Nutri-Meal bar are from Lafeber; and the two small packets are from Harrison. I have updated some of the information where needed. Zieglers has not returned my call as of today. Hi John, George is a very handsome grey. Whoever owns him can be proud of him. I don't have a lot of grey experience so I can only tell you about my Ana Grey. She is only 7 months old and she is very independent and not afraid of anything. I just give her a new toy and she is happy. All greys are different. Anyone can give her tickles on her head, she loves head scratches so if they say "tickle, tickle" she is theirs for all the scratches they want to give. You didn't say... are you re-homing an older grey or are you in line for a baby grey? Can't wait to hear more about your search for your grey and see some pictures when the time comes. Welcome to the family!!!

Pat, your baby is such a cutie. Have you come up with any names yet? It's great all your fids are interested in the little guy and are so willing to accept your baby into the flock. I can't wait to see this cutie fully feathered!!!

Hi tonnaparrots, welcome to the family. The site which Judy provided also does DNA testing with feathers. They will send you a free testing kit and you just pop in several feathers and they e-mail you the results and then send a certificate by mail. There is a fee. I got the test kit and my breeder plucked the feathers (from the body under the wing) and I sent them in. Within the week I had the results. Congratulations on your new grey!!!
