Put Ana Grey's harness on today and immediately took her outside. We sat in the sunshine, with Ana Grey munching on apple. She was so busy munching on her apple she forgot all about the harness!!!:woohoo: All in all a good afternoon. If the weather is sunny tomorrow we'll do it again.:silly: I'll try to remember the camera so I can get a picture or two!!

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/03/30 06:37

Cassandra, it is always delightful to hear about all the babies. So glad Darwin is loving his new home and flock. New pictures please, when you get a chance!!!
Sheila, I hope Cracker is feeling better. I know she has a wonderful mommy. And for sure Judy and Dave are the best. What would we do without these two great moderators and fantastic people!!!!
Hey Josh, welcome to you and Weasel. Sounds like Weasel and you have a grand relationship. Can't wait to see some pictures of her and hear more about your great little companion.
I was fortunate enough to visit Australia and see the beauty of Australia in person. The cockatoos, magpies, koalas and kangaroos, to name a few all running free; it was magnificent. And the people are wonderful. I have a beautiful 18-year-old Australian/US granddaughter. You are lucky to be able to see this beauty every day! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
How old are you Kipsie? There is one young lady in my neighborhood (State of Washington) who works at a local pet store cleaning cages and other odd jobs around the pet store. She is saving her money so she can buy an older cockatoo the store has. Perhaps that is something you could look into in your area. Just an idea.
It sounds like your Blue Headed Pionus, Button, will be a great asset in helping Quasimodo fit right in with your family. From your Avatar it is easy to see that Quasimodo is quite a striking fellow. Thanks for sharing his story with us.
