Fairymyst why don't you just go talk to your apartment manager about your concerns. Most people are animal lovers at heart. I would just talk to them about the hazards of bug spray to your birds and perhaps they would be willing to give you 24-hour notice as a courtesy.

I'm sorry GorgASS for your little grey's health problem but I have great confidence that you will do whatever is needed to see that your baby comes out of this ordeal healthy as can be. Good luck with the breeder and best of luck on a full recovery for your sweet baby grey!!!

Azzie, I am sorry about the loss of your beloved Lab Ollo. I still miss my German Shepherd, Sugar, who would help me carry firewood for my fireplace years ago. I would carry an armful and she always picked up a log and walked with me into the house to put her log on the woodpile. When I think of Sugar a warm smile crosses my face with the flood of love she gave me. I know how you feel and you should reminder Olle with a smile for all the love you were given by your wonderful four-legged friend. I am so sorry for your loss.

My 8-month-old Timneh is Ana Grey. Ana in Hebrew means: favored grace or in Spanish means: gracious or merciful.

Renate, it is not required that you own a grey to be a member of this family, just the love of these great beings. You qualify as a grey lover you always have and like all families you are a member for life. I for one want to be there if and when you find a grey that wants to be part of yours and our family. I for one love these journeys and don't want to miss it. So Renate you are stuck with us. You can talk to us about anything you feel; you are family.
